Erik Darling was an American folk musician, a banjo and twelve-string-guitar player and singer.

  • Born in 1933, he was a central figure in the American folk revival.
  • Was a member of the Tarriers and later replaced Pete Seeger in the Weavers.
  • Founded the Rooftop Singers, whose recording of “Walk Right In” was a number-one hit in 1963.
  • Died in 2008.
