Queen City Jubilee is a 2018 self-released album by the Slocan Ramblers on their own Slo Music imprint. The Toronto-based Canadian bluegrass quartet—Frank Evans (banjo, harmonica, vocals), Darryl Poulsen (guitar, vocals), Adrian Gross (mandolin), and Alastair Whitehead (bass, vocals)—delivers a hard-driving, traditional set that earned a nomination for the 2019 Juno Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year. "Queen City" refers to the band's home city of Toronto. The Slocan Ramblers have built a reputation for uncompromising bluegrass rooted in the Bill Monroe tradition, making them among the most acclaimed Canadian acts in the genre. Note: the catalog personnel includes two names belonging to an unrelated American band; the correct lineup is as listed here.
