Deanie Richardson is a Tennessee-born fiddler whose Grand Ole Opry debut at age 13, founding seat in Sister Sadie (2016), and 2020 IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year title made her the second woman to win that award — her band the first all-female group to take IBMA Entertainer of the Year.
- Raised just outside of Nashville in the small town of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, in a musical family with both grandfathers and her father playing music.
- Picked up the fiddle at age 9 and made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 13.
- Founding member of Sister Sadie (2016) alongside Dale Ann Bradley, Tina Adair, and Gena Britt.
- Named IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year in 2020 (second woman ever to win); was the most-awarded artist at the 2020 IBMA Awards with four wins.
- Sister Sadie became the first all-female band to win IBMA Entertainer of the Year (2020); also won Vocal Group of the Year.
- Long Nashville session and touring resume including The Chieftains, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Bob Seger, Emmylou Harris, Ry Cooder, Hank Williams Jr., Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, Holly Dunn, and the Del McCoury Band.
