Grandpa Jones Sings Hits from Hee Haw is a 1969 Monument Records album (SLP-18131) by Louis Marshall Jones, capitalizing on his starring role in the CBS television variety series Hee Haw, which debuted that summer. Jones was a charter cast member of the program, performing his old-time country songs and clawhammer banjo alongside Minnie Pearl, Buck Owens, Roy Clark, and a rotating roster of country guests. The album revisits his signature material — "Mountain Dew," "Old Rattler," and other crowd favorites — in the personable, low-frills style that made him one of country television's most enduring personalities. Hee Haw ran in syndication for over two decades, and Jones remained a fixture through much of that run until his death in 1998.
