Hymns from the Hills is a 2011 Rebel Records album (REB-CD-1839) by Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers and their first all-gospel recording. Mullins — a southwestern Ohio radio broadcaster and Scruggs-style banjoist who founded the Radio Ramblers in 2006 — leads the band through fourteen traditional sacred songs with guest appearances from Ralph Stanley, Rhonda Vincent, and Larry Sparks. The lineup features Adam McIntosh (guitar), Evan McGregor (fiddle), Mike Terry (mandolin), and Tim Kidd (bass). Released as a companion to their 2010 secular debut Rambler's Call, the album draws from the reservoir of mountain gospel and early bluegrass church music that has informed the tradition since its origins. Mullins & The Radio Ramblers went on to win the IBMA Entertainer of the Year award in 2019.
