I Wish Tonight Would Never End is a 1963 United Artists Records album (UAL-3270) by George Jones, produced in Nashville by H.W. "Pappy" Daily. Jones had recently moved to United Artists after his Mercury tenure, and the album pairs original material with duets alongside Melba Montgomery — most notably "We Must Have Been Out of Our Minds," which became a major country hit and launched one of country music's most celebrated vocal partnerships. Session players including Curtis McPeake on banjo and Tommy Jackson on fiddle lend several tracks a distinctly bluegrass-flavored texture.
