Darin Aldridge plays mandolin and sings harmony; Brooke Aldridge sings lead. The session was tracked at Crossroads Studio in Arden, North Carolina with Van Atkins engineering, and pulls a list of bluegrass elder statesmen into guest roles — Sam Bush on mandolin for "Get Up John," Bobby Hicks on fiddle for "My Rose of Old Kentucky," Doyle Lawson on "Let's," Ricky Skaggs on "When He Calls," Steve McMurry on "Better Place." The repertoire ranges across Gillian Welch, Uncle Dave Macon, and the pop standard "Let It Be Me," staking the Aldridges' wide bluegrass-Americana ground.
