Missy Raines is a West Virginia-born bassist and singer who became the first woman to win IBMA Bass Player of the Year in 1998 and has since taken the award ten times — an Eddie Adcock Band alum, Claire Lynch Band veteran, and Grammy-nominated bandleader of Missy Raines & The New Hip and Missy Raines & Allegheny.
