Robbie Fulks
Robbie Fulks is an American alt-country and Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist, a pillar of the 1990s Chicago insurgent-country scene whose sharp wit and traditionalist craft made him one of the movement's defining voices. After a stint as a Nashville staff songwriter, he built an acclaimed solo catalog spanning hard country, bluegrass, and roots.
- Born March 25, 1963, in York, Pennsylvania, and raised in the Carolinas and Virginia.
- Played in Greg Cahill's Special Consensus bluegrass band and taught at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music.
