Buzz Busby was an American bluegrass mandolinist and singer, a pioneer of bluegrass in the Washington, D.C., area.
- Born Bernarr Busbice in 1933 in Louisiana.
- Moved to Washington in the early 1950s and led the band Buzz Busby and the Bayou Boys.
- His band's local television show was an important early showcase for Washington bluegrass.
- Musicians who filled in for his band after a 1957 car crash went on to form the Country Gentlemen. He died in 2003.
