Chaw Mank
Chaw Mank was an Illinois country songwriter and music-club organizer who, with John Duffey and Joe Kingston, is credited as a co-author of the Country Gentlemen's 1965 ghost-story ballad "Bringing Mary Home."

- The Country Gentlemen cut the song on Rebel Records in 1965; it became one of the best-selling bluegrass singles of the late 1960s.
- The song has since been recorded by Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, the Lonesome River Band, Charlie Sizemore, and many other bluegrass acts.
