Robert Hunter

Robert Hunter was an American lyricist and musician.
- Born in 1941, he played bass in Jerry Garcia's early bluegrass band, the Black Mountain Boys.
- Became the principal lyricist for the Grateful Dead, writing songs including “Ripple” and “Truckin'.”
- Was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Grateful Dead. He died in 2019.
