A Sacred Collection (Old Homestead Records OHCD-70093, 1994) is a bluegrass gospel album from Bill Grant and Delia Bell, the southeastern Oklahoma vocal duo who built a devoted following through their recordings on Kiamichi and Rebel Records before releasing this devotional program on the Michigan-based Old Homestead label. Grant plays mandolin and sings; Bell plays guitar and sings lead, the two meeting in the close harmony style that characterized their work throughout their career. The program draws from the Appalachian gospel tradition the duo had explored across their recording career — sacred pieces centered on homecoming, assurance, and eternal rest — presenting their voices in the traditional bluegrass gospel context that anchored their most admired recordings and their long partnership.
