More than 1,300 songs and tunes across bluegrass, classic country, folk and old time — the words, the chords, the key it’s played in, and the exact recording each one comes from, so you’re learning the version people actually call at a jam. Every one is checked by hand against the actual recording. Members can add their own songs too, so the catalog keeps growing.

The practice engine

Whether you play guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, dobro or bass — or you sing — every song in the catalog is ready to practice: any key, any tempo, split into loopable sections so you can chase down a solo or a melody line until it’s yours.

The fun is playing along with the actual record. Old recordings are tuning-corrected, so a cut from 1950 sits perfectly in tune with your instrument. Mute the singer and you’re out front with the band that made it; keep only the vocal and hear exactly how the melody is phrased.
