Boarding Windows in Paradise (Compass Records / Amtoco, 2024) is Colorado-based flatpicking guitarist Rebecca Frazier's major-label debut, produced by Grammy-winning engineer Bill Wolf at Studio W in Alexandria, Virginia, and FirePlace Studio in Nashville. Frazier — the first woman to appear on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine — leads an ensemble including Stuart Duncan (fiddle), Isaac Eicher (mandolin, harmony), and Erik Alvar (bass), with Béla Fleck, Sam Bush, Ron Block, and Barry Bales in guest roles. The eleven-track album debuted at #4 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and landed on No Depression's "Americana Ten" list, establishing Frazier as a formidable studio artist alongside her decades-long reputation as a live flatpicking virtuoso.
