Classic Bluegrass, originally released in 1991 on Rebel (REB-CD 1112), is a sixteen-track Lost and Found career retrospective drawing from 1975-1984 Rebel sessions, capturing two distinct lineups of the band. Allen Mills on bass and vocals and Dempsey Young on mandolin and vocals anchor both eras, with Gene Parker, Bubba Chandler, and Roger Handy among the guitarists and banjo players across the various sessions. Guest contributions include Mike Auldridge on Dobro and Bobby Hicks on fiddle. The compilation included several previously unissued cuts and was mastered by David Glasser at Airshow Inc. in Springfield, Virginia. The set is now out of print on CD and available only digitally. The 2005 catalog date reflects a later digital listing rather than the original 1991 issue.
