Country Faith Bluegrass is a fourteen-song gospel collection released by Billy Blue Records on 17 September 2021 (BBR-2334), the tenth album in the Country Faith series. Eight tracks are new recordings and six had been released before. Jerry Salley produced it, and the physical CD was sold only through Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.

Dolly Parton’s “In the Sweet By and By” was the lead single. Salley has said that Parton, who did not want to go to a studio while he was producing the album in 2020 during the pandemic, sent him a previously unreleased vocal of the hymn with one guitar and let him build a bluegrass band around it. He raised the tempo to double time after the first chorus and added harmony vocals with Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle and Bradley Walker.

The other new recordings are Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver’s “Shall We Gather at the River,” Marty Raybon and Salley on “My Future Ain’t What It Used to Be,” Dale Ann Bradley with the Isaacs on “Working on a Building,” Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers on “Rank Strangers,” the SteelDrivers’ first gospel recording, “River of Forgiveness,” written by Tammy Rogers-King and Salley, “Walk with Me” by Caeland Garner with Balsam Range, and Darin & Brooke Aldridge’s “Drifting Too Far from the Shore.” The earlier recordings are Vince Gill’s “All Prayed Up,” Alison Krauss & the Cox Family’s “Will There Be Any Stars?,” Dailey & Vincent’s “By the Mark,” the Del McCoury Band’s “I’m Bound for the Land of Canaan,” Patty Loveless and Ricky Skaggs on “Daniel Prayed,” and Charlie Daniels’s “Walking in Jerusalem (Just Like John),” with Mac Wiseman and the Whites.
