Down Home Girl cover

Down Home Girl (Nettwerk, 2006) is a three-track promotional EP released alongside Old Crow Medicine Show's second studio album Big Iron World, produced by David Rawlings. "Down Home Girl" and "James River Blues" are drawn from Big Iron World; "On My Knees" is an exclusive bonus. The recording lineup mirrors the Big Iron World roster: Ketch Secor (fiddle, harmonica, vocals), Critter Fuqua (guitar, vocals), Willie Watson (guitar, banjo, vocals), Kevin Hayes (drums, guitjo), and Morgan Jahnig (bass). The EP served as a commercial introduction to the band's broadened sound as they followed up their debut's breakout success. Note: the catalog also lists Jack Lawrence and Paul Knight, who are not documented OCMS members and appear to reflect data errors.
