Endless Highway (Rebel Records REB-1607, 1982) is a studio album from Lost & Found, the Roanoke, Virginia-based traditional bluegrass band that built one of the most durable regional followings in the genre through consistent festival and touring work. Bubba Chandler plays guitar and sings lead; Gene Parker plays banjo and sings; Dempsey Young plays mandolin and sings; and Allen Mills holds the string bass and sings. Bobby Hicks contributes fiddle and Mike Auldridge contributes dobro as session players, adding two of the era's most celebrated acoustic instrumentalists to the recording. Recorded at Threshold Recording in Roanoke, the album presents the band's straightforward traditional bluegrass approach — close vocal harmony, acoustic ensemble, driving rhythm — that sustained their consistent regional popularity through decades of festival appearances and Rebel Records recording.
