Highway Prayers is Billy Strings' fourth studio album of original material, released on Reprise on September 27, 2024, and his first solo studio record since Renewal three years earlier. Strings co-produced it with Jon Brion, cutting twenty songs between Los Angeles and Nashville with the road band that had been with him for years: Billy Failing on banjo, Jarrod Walker on mandolin, Royal Masat on bass, and Alex Hargreaves on fiddle. Brion adds drums, percussion and keyboards in places, and Lindsay Lou and Taneka Samone sing backing vocals. The singles were "Leaning on a Travelin' Song," "Gild the Lily," and "Seven Weeks in County," the last with a Western short film. The album won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album at the 2025 ceremony, Strings' third win in the category after Home and Live, Vol. 1.
