Hit Parade of Love: Live 1958–1960 (Music Mill MME-71003-2, 2001) is a live concert document from Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys, capturing the ensemble during one of the most productive periods of Martin's recording and performing career. Martin plays guitar and sings lead throughout; J.D. Crowe plays five-string banjo and sings baritone; and Paul "Big" Williams plays mandolin and sings tenor, completing the trio configuration that anchored the Sunny Mountain Boys in this period. Martin's powerful lead voice — combining emotional urgency with an insistence on precise timing — is heard in the spontaneous atmosphere of live performance, with Crowe's banjo work already demonstrating the refined Scruggs-style execution that defined his subsequent reputation as one of the instrument's most admired practitioners. The album assembles recordings from Shreveport, Louisiana performances in 1958 and 1960, released more than four decades after the live dates.
