I Can Go to Them (Pinecastle PRC 1257, 2021) is Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road's all-gospel project, twelve tracks dedicated to the band members' mothers and blending Piedmont traditional bluegrass with sacred material. Jordan (mandolin, vocals) leads Randy Graham (guitar, vocals), Allen Dyer (guitar, lead vocals), Kevin Lamm (bass), Matt Hooper (fiddle), and Ben Greene (banjo, vocals) through a program mixing new originals with traditional favorites, including "Brush Arbors" and "Traveling the Highway Home." Graham, a veteran Carolina Road anchor with roots in the Bluegrass Cardinals, closes the album on the latter track. The project was recorded through Pinecastle Records, with whom the band had been working since 2013, and represents the most straightforwardly devotional release of Jordan's catalog to date.
