In the Light is a 2006 CD by flatpicking guitarist Tyler Grant, released on the Flatpicking Guitar Magazine label (FGM 120). Grant plays guitar and sings lead on a program of mostly original songs and tunes, with a few traditional pieces and classic bluegrass numbers. At the time of its release he was a member of the Drew Emmitt Band and had also played with Casey and Chris Henry & the Two-Stringers, and he had won or placed in several well-known flatpicking guitar contests.

The musicians on the album are Casey Driessen (fiddle), Scott Vestal and Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Andy Hall (dobro), Chris Henry (mandolin), Amanda Kowalski, Missy Raines and Mike Bub (bass), and Pat Enright, who sings harmony. The thirteen tracks include “Good Morning, Mr. Railroad Man,” “Lockwood,” “Angela,” “Solitary Man,” “Goin’ Back to California,” “Grey Eagle” and the title song.
