Introducing the Tuttles with AJ Lee is a 2010 album by the Northern California bluegrass family group released on Back Studio (BSR 002). Jack Tuttle (fiddle, vocals)—a veteran Bay Area teacher and multi-instrumentalist at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto—performs alongside his children Molly Tuttle (banjo, vocals), Sullivan Tuttle (guitar, vocals), and Michael Tuttle (mandolin, vocals), plus family friend AJ Lee (mandolin, vocals). The group first played together at the California Bluegrass Association's Grass Valley festival in 2004 and by 2010 had attracted a wide following through a YouTube video of "El Cumbanchero" that surpassed one million views. Produced by Jack Tuttle, the twelve-track debut captures the ensemble at the start of a career that would make Molly Tuttle one of the most celebrated guitarists in contemporary bluegrass.
