AJ Lee
AJ Lee is a Bay Area-born singer and mandolinist who joined the Tuttle family band at age 7 under Jack Tuttle's mentorship and now leads AJ Lee & Blue Summit — a 2019 IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year and FreshGrass Band Contest winner.
- Mandolinist and lead vocalist from Tracy, California in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Began performing on stage at age 5 and joined The Tuttles family band at age 7 (2005), mentored by Jack Tuttle.
- Performed for years as "The Tuttles featuring AJ Lee" alongside Michael, Sullivan, and Molly Tuttle.
- Co-founded AJ Lee & Blue Summit with Sullivan Tuttle in 2015 after the Tuttles disbanded.
- Won the FreshGrass Band Contest in 2019 and that year took the IBMA Momentum Award for Vocalist of the Year.
- Nine-time Northern California Bluegrass Society Best Female Vocalist winner.
- Released albums "Like I Used To" (2019) and "I'll Come Back" (2021) with Blue Summit.
- Sings both lead and harmony vocals; entered Frank Solivan Sr.'s Kids on Bluegrass program before joining the Tuttles.
