I've Got a Good Memory, released on Rutabaga Records around 1990, is Charlie Sizemore's second solo album after his long tenure as lead singer for Ralph Stanley's Clinch Mountain Boys — recorded with a band that included country star Vern Gosdin contributing harmony vocals. The 12-song program runs through original material like Two Lonely Hearts, Rainbows and Roses, and the title track, as Sizemore worked to establish a solo identity outside the Stanley band where he had taken over the lead-vocal chair as a teenager in 1977. The album represents an early move toward the wider country-bluegrass crossover work Sizemore would continue through his later career on Rebel and other labels.
