Lloyd Green
Lloyd Green is an American pedal-steel guitarist, one of the most-recorded steel players in country music.
- Born in 1937, he became a leading Nashville session musician.
- Played steel guitar on hundreds of country hit records.
- Played the iconic steel parts on the Byrds' 1968 album “Sweetheart of the Rodeo,” including “You Ain't Goin' Nowhere” and “Hickory Wind.”
- Was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
