Our Lady of the Tall Trees is the second album by Cahalen Morrison and Eli West, issued independently in 2012. Morrison comes from the Southwest and West from the Pacific Northwest. The two play an assortment of stringed instruments: Morrison clawhammer banjo, mandolin and lap slide guitar, West guitar, bouzouki and clawhammer banjo.

Of the twelve tracks, most are Morrison’s own songs. The covers are Townes Van Zandt’s “Loretta,” Norman Blake’s “Church Street Blues” (also recorded by Tony Rice) and the traditional “The Poor Cowboy.” There are two instrumentals: Morrison’s “Potluck Dinner / Vicco Returns from Spain” and Garry Harrison’s “Red Prairie Dawn,” which closes the record.
