Pickin' On Creedence Clearwater Revival: Bluegrass Rising is a 2025 CMH Records release by Iron Horse, the Muscle Shoals, Alabama–based bluegrass band that has served as the primary act in CMH's long-running "Pickin' On" series. The lineup — Tony Robertson (mandolin, vocals), Ricky Rogers (bass, vocals), Vance Henry (guitar, vocals), and Anthony Richardson (banjo, vocals) — departs from the series' earlier instrumental format to present fully voiced vocal arrangements of CCR classics. Iron Horse has recorded more than thirty entries in the "Pickin' On" series since 1999, adapting rock and country catalogs for traditional bluegrass audiences and introducing the genre to listeners unfamiliar with its acoustic roots. This release applies that approach to one of rock's most beloved catalogs.
