Rattle of the Chains is a 2005 album released by Wildfire on Pinecastle Records (PRC 1148). The ensemble—Phil Leadbetter (dobro, vocals), Darrell Webb (mandolin, vocals), Robert Hale (guitar, vocals), Curt Chapman (bass), and Barry Crabtree (banjo)—deliver their third Pinecastle album with a program dedicated to the memory and music of Jimmy Martin, whose influence on the band's hard-driving, vocally assertive style is evident throughout. With over a hundred combined years of experience among the members, Wildfire were among the most seasoned traditional bluegrass acts on the festival circuit at the time of recording. Note: the catalog lists "Robert Crabtree" on banjo; the correct name is Barry Crabtree.
