Reckless cover

Reckless, the SteelDrivers’ second album, was released by Rounder Records on 7 September 2010 (11661-0624-2). The band on the record is Chris Stapleton on guitar and lead vocals, Tammy Rogers on fiddle, Mike Henderson on guitar and mandolin, Richard Bailey on banjo and Mike Fleming on bass, with Luke Wooten as producer. Eleven of the twelve songs are credited to Henderson and Stapleton; “Good Corn Liquor” is credited to Stapleton and Ronnie Bowman.

At the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, in 2011, Reckless was nominated for Best Bluegrass Album and its track “Where Rainbows Never Die” for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Stapleton announced in April 2010 that he was leaving the band to concentrate on family and songwriting, and Gary Nichols was named as the new lead singer, so Reckless was the last SteelDrivers album to feature Stapleton.
