Reflections, released on February 3, 1976 by Round Records (RX-107), is Jerry Garcia's third solo album — the record that bridged his Jerry Garcia Band material and the Grateful Dead's working circle. Partway through production, Garcia abandoned recording with his solo group and brought in the full Grateful Dead, who appear on four tracks; the rest features the Garcia Band of the period with Nicky Hopkins on piano, John Kahn on bass, and Ron Tutt on drums. The eight songs include four Garcia–Hunter originals (Might as Well, Mission in the Rain), one Hunter solo composition, and three covers. Reflections reached #42 on the US charts and remains one of Garcia's most listenable solo outings.
