Ridin' Out the Storm is a 2001 B Sharp Records album (B Sharp 1005) by Iron Horse, the Muscle Shoals, Alabama–based bluegrass band. The lineup for this recording — Tony Robertson (mandolin, vocals), Ricky Rogers (bass, vocals), Vance Henry (guitar, vocals), and Rodney Carter (banjo, mandolin) — predates the arrival of banjoist Anthony Richardson, who joined the group the following year. The fourteen-track program mixes original Iron Horse compositions with bluegrass-style arrangements including a cover of the Marshall Tucker Band's "Fire on the Mountain." The album was the band's first fully self-produced project and established the instrumental adaptability that would define their extensive catalog in the CMH "Pickin' On" series in the years that followed.
