Sings Country Gospel Songs is a 20-track LP by Hylo Brown and the Timberliners, released in 1967 on Rural Rhythm Records (RRHB 187). The Bluegrass Discography gives the recording place as Akron, Ohio. Brown, born in River, Kentucky, plays guitar and is the only vocalist credited. The band is Jack Casey on guitar, Ross Branham on banjo, Dan Milhon on dobro and Dick Brickles on bass.

The program includes “Sweeter Than the Flowers,” “No Hidin’ Place Down Here,” “Jacob’s Ladder,” “Walking in Jerusalem,” “Paul and Silas” and “Just a Closer Walk With Thee.” Rural Rhythm later reissued the album as 20 Gospel Favorites.
