Somewhere Between is a 2004 album by NewFound Road, the Virginia-based vocal trio built around Shelton Feather, Bo Roller, and Terry Baucom. The group occupied a space in contemporary bluegrass where tight harmony singing, strong original songwriting, and a radio-accessible production sensibility overlapped. 'That's How I Got to Memphis' is a Tom T. Hall song that bluegrass singers had long found adaptable. NewFound Road was among the more consistently accomplished of a generation of polished vocal groups navigating between the hard-core traditionalist audience and the crossover potential that labels and radio formats made possible.
