Aubrey Haynie contributes fiddle on select tracks. Hensley's high, direct tenor and Ickes's mastery of the resonator guitar—spanning hard-driving ensemble leads to intimate chord melody—position the duo as a natural heir to classic pairing traditions in the genre. Note: catalog personnel also credits Brittany Haas and Tim Stafford; neither has been confirmed for this recording, and catalog number 7 4669-2 may belong to the duo's 2014 debut, Before the Sun Goes Down.
