What More Should I Say? (Pinecastle PRC 1146) is a 13-track CD by Michelle Nixon & Drive, released on 12 July 2005. The Bluegrass Discography gives the recording place as Hilltop Recording Studio in Madison, Tennessee. Nixon is the lead singer. The band is Patrick Robertson on guitar, Jason Davis on banjo, Jamie Harper on mandolin, Adam Seale on bass and Justen Haynes on fiddle; Haynes sings harmony or baritone on much of the album. Phil Leadbetter plays dobro and Jeff Murray drums on “Heart of Stone,” and Mike Toppins plays dobro on “We Must Have Been Out of Our Minds,” on which Bill Anderson sings with Nixon.
Robertson wrote the title song and “I Know,” and Nixon wrote “Prisoner of Your Love” and “Heart of Stone.” Other songs include Dallas Frazier’s “If It Ain’t Love (Let’s Leave It Alone),” Merle Haggard’s “Ramblin’ Fever,” “Roses in the Snow” (credited to Delia F. Steele and W. S. Stevenson) and Bill Anderson’s “Slippin’ Away.” Discogs credits Nixon and Toppins as producers and Tom Riggs, who started Pinecastle Records in 1989, as executive producer.
