Jason Davis is a Virginia-born banjoist whose teenage start with Michelle Nixon & Drive led to seats with BlueRidge, Alan Bibey & Grasstowne, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, and now the Dan Tyminski Band — an IBMA Instrumental Album of the Year nominee for his 2008 solo "Steppin' Out."
- Bluegrass banjo player born and raised in Ford, central Virginia.
- Began his professional career at age 14 with Michelle Nixon & Drive.
- Has toured and recorded with BlueRidge, Alan Bibey & Grasstowne, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, the Kenny & Amanda Smith Band, and The Highland Travelers.
- Currently plays banjo in the Dan Tyminski Band.
