Mark O'Connor is a Seattle-area-bred fiddler and composer whose four National Old-Time Fiddle Championships, Grammy-winning crossover album "Appalachian Journey" (with Yo-Yo Ma and Edgar Meyer), and roughly 450 album credits as a Nashville session player make him one of the most musically wide-ranging string players of his generation.
