Chris Scruggs is a Nashville multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter whose command of guitar, steel guitar, and upright bass has made him a fixture of the city's roots-music scene. The son of singer-songwriter Gail Davies and grandson of bluegrass pioneer Earl Scruggs, he has anchored country traditionalist Marty Stuart's band since the mid-2010s.
