Greg Cahill plays banjo; Rick Faris, guitar and lead vocals; Dan Eubanks, upright bass; Nate Burie, mandolin. Guests include Michael Cleveland and Becky Buller on fiddle, Rob Ickes on dobro, and Robbie Fulks—who contributes his composition "East Chicago Blues" as both writer and vocalist; produced by Alison Brown. Note: catalog personnel lists Ray Pohlman, whose credit is not confirmed for this album. The title honors the WLS National Barn Dance (1924–1968), which predated the Grand Ole Opry as America's foremost radio barn dance, and the album's title track won the 2020 IBMA Song of the Year.
