Erase the Miles cover

Erase the Miles is a 2004 Rebel Records compilation (REB-CD-7509) drawing from the first three studio albums IIIrd Tyme Out recorded for the label. The band — Russell Moore (guitar, lead vocals), Alan Bibey (mandolin, vocals), Terry Baucom (banjo, vocals), Mike Hartgrove (fiddle), and Ray Deaton (bass, vocals) — formed in Cumming, Georgia, in 1991 and quickly established themselves as one of the decade's premier traditional bluegrass vocal groups, winning multiple IBMA Vocal Group of the Year awards. Moore, a former member of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, anchors the group with one of bluegrass's most expressive lead voices, and the compilation presents the band at their Rebel-era peak, showcasing the tight harmonies and instrumental precision that defined their signature sound.
