For the Good Times is a 2012 album released by The Little Willies on Blue Note Records (BLUN-31280). The New York City collective—Jim Campilongo (guitar), Norah Jones (piano, vocals), Richard Julian (guitar, vocals), Lee Alexander (bass), and Dan Rieser (drums)—formed as a side project devoted to honky-tonk and classic country, following their eponymous 2006 debut. The group draws on the Hank Williams and Kris Kristofferson songbooks among other country touchstones, delivered with a casual, after-hours intimacy. For the Good Times extends that affectionate approach, with Jones's smoky voice and Campilongo's economical guitar serving as the album's twin anchors through a program of knowing, unhurried country reverence.
