Foxhounds is a 2015 Live Oak Records album by the Kathy Kallick Band, released on the independent label Kallick operates herself. The ensemble — Kathy Kallick (guitar, vocals), Tom Bekeny (mandolin, vocals), Greg Booth (dobro, banjo, vocals), Cary Black (bass, vocals), and Annie Staninec (fiddle) — delivers a program of original songs and traditional material that earned strong notices from Sing Out! and other acoustic music publications. The album continues Kallick's combination of original songwriting with deep knowledge of the Anglo-American traditional repertoire, presenting California bluegrass in the unadorned style she has maintained since the Good Ol' Persons era of the 1970s.
