Full Circle is a 1994 album released by Tony Furtado on Rounder Records (CD-0323), produced by Stuart Duncan, that pivots toward acoustic blues and slide guitar alongside Furtado's established bluegrass banjo work. Furtado (banjo, slide guitar) is joined by Stuart Duncan (fiddle, co-producer), Tim O'Brien (mandolin, fiddle, vocals), Mark Schatz (bass), Jerry Douglas (dobro), David Grier (guitar), Scott Nygaard (guitar), and Matt Flinner (mandolin), among others. The album blends bluegrass, old-time, country blues, and acoustic Americana in a program that expanded Furtado's stylistic reach beyond his banjo-competition origins. Note: the catalog attributes this release to the Cates Sisters, but Rounder CD-0323 is definitively a Tony Furtado recording.
