I Feel Like Singing Today, released in 1999 on Rebel (REB-CD 1755), is Jim Lauderdale's bluegrass-duet album with Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys, recorded at Maggard Sound in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. The lineup pairs Lauderdale's lead vocals and guitar with Stanley's tenor harmony alongside Jack Cooke on bass, James Alan Shelton on guitar, Junior Williams on rhythm, James Price on fiddle, Steve Sparkman on banjo, and Ralph Stanley II adding vocals. The repertoire splits between vintage Stanley Brothers material and Lauderdale originals; two tracks — "Joy Joy Joy" and "I Will Wait for You" — were co-written with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. The album earned a Grammy nomination and launched a second Lauderdale-Stanley pairing the following year. The 2026 catalog date is a data error.
