It’s Just a Road cover

It's Just a Road, released in 2013, is one of the most musically accomplished recordings in the catalog of the Boxcars, the supergroup assembled around the banjo of Ron Stewart and the guitar and vocals of Adam Steffey, Keith Garrett, Harold Nixon, and John Bowman. The band brought together players with deep résumés across the contemporary bluegrass world. Their reading of 'Trouble in Mind,' a song with roots stretching back into the blues tradition of the early twentieth century, demonstrates the Boxcars' ability to take material from outside the strictly bluegrass canon and render it with full acoustic conviction. The album continued the group's IBMA Award recognition and affirmed their standing among the leading traditional-leaning bands of their era.
