Harold Nixon is a Kentucky-born upright bassist who played with Unlimited Tradition while still in high school, joined J.D. Crowe and the New South, and held the bass chair in IBMA-winning Boxcars from 2009 to 2017 — a multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer credited on the band's debut CD.
