Charlie Waller plays guitar and sings; Doyle Lawson, mandolin and vocals; Mike Auldridge, dobro; Bill Yates and Ed Ferris share bass duties across different tracks; and Bill Holden—not listed in the catalog personnel, a likely data gap—plays banjo throughout. The Lawson-Waller-Auldridge combination, with Auldridge's resonator guitar at the height of its influence, represents the Country Gentlemen at their most instrumentally sophisticated and places this album among the more distinguished entries in their mid-1970s catalog.
