Live in Holland 1973 cover

Live in Holland 1973 captures the New Kentucky Colonels in concert on May 11, 1973, during their European tour, released on Roland White Music (CD 1). The reformed lineup reunited brothers Clarence White (guitar) and Roland White (mandolin) with Eric White (bass) and Herb Pedersen (banjo) for a series of international festival appearances. Clarence, who had spent the preceding years as lead guitarist for The Byrds, brought a distinctive flatpicking vocabulary to the band's traditional material. The Holland recording documents one of the final appearances of this short-lived reunion before Clarence White's tragic death in July 1973. Note: personnel listed in the catalog for this release includes several names not confirmed on this recording.
